Jonathan Bowlan

Jonathan Bowlan was selected by the Royals in the 2nd round (58th overall) of the 2018 June Amateur Draft, and has begun his professional career this summer at Idaho Falls. A 6-6 right handed starting pitcher out of the University of Memphis, Bowlan comes from good baseball pedigree, as his Father Mark once threw a perfect game at Memphis and was drafted in the 19th round by the St. Louis Cardinals (1989). Bowlan recently joined Dave O to talk about the impact his Dad has had upon his baseball career, the 18 strikeout game against South Florida that serendipitously led to being selected by the Royals, developing a 4th pitch with Jeff Suppan, his hidden talent of juggling and lots more! 1. Such a great young man! I’m a cardinals fan but will have to be a Royals fan now! Keep up the good work!
