Zach Haake was drafted by the Royals in the 6th round of the 2018 draft out of the University of Kentucky, and begins 2019 in the Lexington Legends starting rotation with a 1.73 ERA and 36 K’s in 26 innings across five starts. A 6-4 righty, Haake started his professional career last summer between the Surprise Royals and Idaho Falls Chukars with a 1.76 ERA in 15.1 innings. He recently joined Dave O to give a full pitching scouting report, to talk about playing professionally in the same town that he went to college, growing up a (gasp) Cardinals fan!, singing Christmas Carols and lots more!
