Aaron Brooks has pitched in Kansas City during each of the past two seasons and brings to KC a resume that includes being “Pitcher of the Year” two times during his minor league stints (Omaha, 2014; Northwest Arkansas, 2013). A 9th round selection of the Royals in the 2011 June Amateur Draft, Brooks is known for his ability to eat innings while possessing pinpoint control. He recently joined Dave O to talk about how “pitching with conviction” has taken his career to the next level throughout the last year, how he handled and got over the heart break last season in his start at Toronto, how good it felt rebounding against the Yankees on Saturday and lots more, including a detailed look at his growth from high school to today!
