Holden Capps

Holden Capps is likely nearing a promotion, as the 6-2 lefty owns a microscopic 1.64 ERA with 45 K’s across 38.1 innings at High A Wilmington. Originally selected by Kansas City in the 8th round of the 2017 draft, Capps has spent the previous two years at Idaho Falls and Lexington, and heads into mid-July of 2019 with a combined 3.32 minor league ERA to go along with 159 K’s in 154.2 IP. The University of Central Oklahoma product and former Pioneer League All-Star recently joined Dave O to talk about the “velo flow” (his old hair style), the strength he drew from his Mom, learning to become a pitcher, how much like a family this Wilmington team is and lots more!
