Pat Sheridan was selected by the Royals in the 3rd round of the 1979 draft and played in Kansas City during 1981 and again from 1983-1985. A left handed hitting outfielder, Sheridan cranked two key home runs for the Royals during the 1985 ALCS against Toronto and overall, played in 15 KC post season games. Following his times with the Royals, Sheridan would appear in two more World Series, both with the Tigers (1987) and Giants (1989).
